During my young days whilst living in Zanzibar, I spent most of my time Spearfishing (killing big fish underwater). Those were the great days. When I started cruising on the Canberra with my dance band Black Velvet, family and friends, I was fortunate to meet up with Ian Mosely, who introduced me to Scuba Diving and I trained and qualified as a PADI diver.
Ian Mosely was my diving instructor who also trained many other divers.
Ian organised all the Sucba Diving trips whilst we cruised the Caribbean and other places and on each diving trip we enjoyed two dives a day, a reef and a wreck dive which were all very exciting.
In time I got myself an underwater camera and have captured many exciting fish mostly in Zanzibar where Ian and I spent two weeks diving around the various reefs. Videos will follow later but in the meantime here are some of the underwater photographs taken by Ian Moseley.
Later in time I will add a few brief stories of my Scuba Diving experience.

Welcome to Overland Trombone
My name is Ian Moseley and since 1986 I have been a professional trombonist. During that time I have enjoyed a great deal of travelling and for several years entertained the idea of making an Overland journey through Africa to Cape Town in a Landrover.
In January 2009 I took time out in order to realise that goal. I travelled the West Coast route carrying a trombone with me in order to enhance my interactions with new people.
Check out the music page for a sample of my CD. This will now be solely to raise money for 'Shropshire Music Therapy Unit Trust Fund'.
I will try to share with you the tips I have picked up and also pitfalls in the same way that I have used other people's information for help.
I hope you enjoy the website and I would like to thank my friend Guy Sidford for showing me how to build it and managing the site in my absence.
